What electricity rates will I pay Eversource after I install residential solar in CT?

Residential customers in CT who install solar are still charged standard retail electricity rates. After installing solar, if you solar panels do not cover all of your electricity needs in a month you may still owe money to Eversource on your monthly bill. Whether the solar panels cover all your needs depends on the production of your solar panels, the amount of electricity you used, and other factors. When looking into solar contracts, you can discuss estimated production vs. your electricity needs with your installer.
