How are AOBCs valued?

AOBCs are valued at Eversource’s basic service rate applicable to the AOBC Generation Unit’s rate class in effect during the billing period, regardless of whether a Competitive Power Supplier is used. Eversource’s basic service rates, as established by Eversource’s Basic Service tariff, can be found at Eversource Basic Service Rates-EMA and Eversource Basic Service Rates-WMA. AOBCs are not valued at the basic service rate of subscribers; they are valued at the basic service rate of the AOBC host account.
